Looking for a way to kick-off your yoga practice and start a long-lasting routine? Let go of all your misconceptions about yoga, tune into your breath and body.
In the weekly yoga lessons, we will ease into a routine and help you reap all of the benefits yoga has to offer. Focused on functionality more than aesthetics, I will help you develop a practice that works for you.
Meditation and breathwork is a part of my yoga classes; so we'll try to go beyond yoga poses and experience mindful movement. We will work on tuning into our breath, quieting the mind, noticing areas of tension and discomfort in the body and finding ways to let this moving meditation sink in.
Everything starts with awareness. I like to start with bodily awareness as our emotions express themselves via our body. When we practise pausing to listen to our bodies, then we open ourselves to listening to our emotions and inner self, as well. From there on, I hope to be able to help everybody have their own journey towards enhanced wellbeing and balance.

Functional poses
I don't believe in strict alignments but functional asana's which is based understanding the pose and your body composition, so that you can adjust the poses to your needs to experience the full benefit of yoga.
Mindfulness
Yoga is not just about poses and flexibility. It's first and foremost about awareness of our body, our physical and mental habits, and our emotions. Acceptance accompanies the awareness. We're not the same every day and this is usually reflected on the mat. We notice and welcome this.
Breathwork
Breathwork is essential part of my classes. It helps us come to the moment and calms our nervous system. Connecting to our breath makes it easier to settle on our mats and minds.
Meditation
You can experience a short meditation end of my classes - depending on the flow and the theme. Focusing on our breath and bodily sensations, we
linger across our thoughts without
any judgment or force to stop them.
I offer online group classes and live workshops (on location).
No previous experience is required for group classes or workshops.
